The sight of people carrying chairs, tents, cookwear, bags up Mt Kilimanjaro while you struggle with a day pack…is Wrong! Unfortunately it is also completely necessary, for me anyway. While you feel privileged (if you can feel anything at all while panting due to the high altitude), at least it is getting money back into the local community. A bit disappointed when they wouldnt carry me though.
